Hey there readers! Can you believe August is almost over? Where’d the time even go?! 😱
So the past few weeks have been REALLY bad…but here’s hoping things get better from here. I’ve been horribly off track with writing/editing. I plan to get my ass back in gear!

Recently, I was lucky enough to be interviewed by Rebecca R. Cahill. 😳 Many thanks for the fantastic opportunity! I absolutely love connecting with fellow readers and writers online and irl.
I think if we all focused on spreading more love and less hate, the world would be a better place. With that in mind, I came across this fantastic article regarding bad book reviews by Leonard Tillerman. Do check it out! 😄
Speaking of writing: I think one of my strongest points writing-wise is characterization, and I love to write that sort of thing—perhaps to a fault. That’s one reason I have been tempted over the years to say that much of what I write is more character study than anything.
Of course, it’s not like there’s no plot in what I write…I just tend to like spending a lot of time getting to know the characters/illustrating who they are. When it comes to reading, that’s absolutely one of my favorite aspects—interesting characters.

What I’m Reading
Lost On A Page—and about to begin some more indie books!!! 🤪
As writers, reading is one of the most important things we can do. But sometimes it gets hard to juggle reading and writing!
Fellow writers, do you keep reading while working on your projects? Or do you put your reading on hold til your WIP is done? 💬
