Yeah, admittedly it’s been simply crazy. There are endless tasks ahead of me and it’s not slowing down.

I’ve been working really hard on getting Cursed (book 2 of The Death Club series) ready to go out to my beta readers. Some days it feels like with each chapter I write, I get further away from finishing my novel. 😣
I believe I’ve changed how I want to start Cursed at least 5 times now – and each time I do so much editing before realizing I need to just start the book another way. 🤨
That being said, I have had some really productive days. Here’s hoping that my streak continues!
I’ve also had some…exciting adventures in cat parenting lately. 🤔
Apparently my cats can’t even be trusted with plants that are meant for them. I bought some cat grass for them recently, and what do they do? They binge on it, effectively taking out half of the $8 plant in one night.
I had put the cheap little plastic pot inside of a ceramic one. (You know, to make it look a little nicer, but without bothering to properly repot it. My mistake.)
I came home the next day to find the cheapo pot pulled out of the ceramic one and laying on its side on the floor. 😒
Oh and also, after bingeing on the cat grass, both cats left me wonderful presents – lovely green grassy pukes, one on each of my two new rugs.
So I stuck the cheap pot back into the nice one and went on my little way like the foolish mortal that I am.
The next day, I came home to find the cheap pot pulled out of the nice one again, and ALSO the entire plant, roots and all, removed from the cheap pot. WHY???
Anyway, TL;DR: I love my adorable, sweet, fluffy, cuddly hellbeasts. Honestly.
I’m also damn excited because tonight I’m inviting some friends over and we’re all going to a drag show. I’ve noticed that I tend toward going to the most shows during the winter months. It’s just that I prefer to walk to the bar, so some nights it can be quite the chilly ordeal. We’ll see how tonight plays out!
